Malaysia: Melaka

... Our next destination for our Southeast Asia Trip Melaka. A day tour before heading to Singapore.

Melaka a diversed city in Malaysia and a UNESCO heritage site. It is 2 hours away from Kuala Lumpur but we did it at 4 hours because of heavy traffic in the expressway. 

Melaka is very different from Kuala Lumpur. Everything is in slow paced. The architecture has a taste of European culture. 

Tryks are cutely dressed in Melaka. Don't know how much does it cost to ride one. (Just like tuk-tuk in Thailand) (^_^)

Old arcitectures are being preserved in the area. 

And looking at the river it looks like you were in Venice.

Malaysia: Kuala Lumpur

.... Siblings summer escape!

Since my sister had a conference in KL she decided that will meet up and take a vacation with her.

Kuala Lumpur is a modern city in Southeast Asia. Development is evident in Malaysia. 

This is the trip that we didn't prepare any itineraries one thing is for sure will enjoy this journey. Lol (^_^)

... Just a relaxed trip for the three of us.

Petronas Towers

- the very well known landmark in KL; the twin towers, one of the tallest buildings in the world with a height of 452 meters.

- a mall with a great view of Petronas Towers.

Kuala Lumpur: Batu Cave

.... Batu Cave is a limestone hill with a 272 steps. It is almost an hour away from the busy KL city scene.

.... In front of the cave lies the statue of Lord Murugan which is a Hindu lord. 

.... Hindus go up to the hill barefoot with their prayers to Lord Murugan will be granted.

.... Inside the cave is an active temple where Hindus offer their prayers.

Going up is so tiring we had a lot of stops along the way and it gives us moment to take pictures..... (^_^)

Southeast Asia Trip (KL-Melaka-Sg)

....This is a super late post of our travel but still want to share it.

... Our Last Hurray for summer!!! 

... Meeting up with our sister who is already based in London.

Since we are coming from General Santos City, we had an afternoon flight to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from Manila.

We arrived at Kuala Lumpur's Budget terminal at past 5 pm. The airport looks like our domestic airport here, but everything is organized even the bus ticket booth.

.... And our journey begins....

Day 1: Arrival Kuala Lumpur

Day 2: Tour around KL

          - Petronas Towers

          - Batu cave

          - Suria KLCC

          - Kuala Lumpur National Museum

          - Bukit Bintang

          - Jalan Alor

          - Central Market

          - Chocolate Factory

Day 3: Off to Melaka and Singapore

Day 4: Singapore

          - Sentosa Island

          - Universal Studios

          - Esplanade

          - Merlion Park

Day 5: Shopping day and back to reality!!!

.... It was a well spent 5-days hopping from place to another. 3 cities & 2 countries.
